Hi,
Check to see where the foxuser.dbf is being created, then check your rights to that directory & file.
>When closing vfp9 completely or closing the task pane I get the message
>"cannot update cursor FOXRESOURCE since it is read only"
>started for no obvious reason. Don't get the message if set resource off. also cannot save - options - 'set as default'.
>Have deleted resource file, uninstalled and reinstalled foxpro, set attributes of all files in application data and foxpro directories to enabled and deleted all temporary files. Does not stop me working but a real pain as cannot set any new configurations.
