That is because people don't want to see the truth. They want to see confirmed in what they believe is the truth. Anyone telling otherwise, despite the huge amount of evidence or facts, is ignored.

But the US will pay the bill. Their credibility arround the world has declined enormously the last few years. Anti-americanism, even in the western countries, has increased significantly.
