I firmly believe the designers of the registry should be flogged 3 times a day. The registry stinks.
It's bloated. and it is not dynamic. If I move an application which has reg entries It fails.
The MAC resource file method is so much better. Delete the resource file, run the app from another disk and it creates a default resource.
Come to think of it thats how foxpro work!!!
After all foxpro is a port of Foxbase Mac :-)
