Reyqie,

SQL Server cannot prevent data loss if your data entry PCs are "freezing".

The first step is to check the power supply not just for the Server and PCs but for routers, network hardware, dsl or cable modems, apparently unrelated servers providing proxy or windows network services... anything where a momentary glitch can cause an apparent freeze. It might be just one PC messing your whole system up- we had a client whose IT support person had a flaky network card so every he logged in to "investigate", users began experiencing lockups and data loss.

Good luck!
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
