>I can't nap. First of all I find it almost impossible to wind down so that I can fall asleep. If I fall asleep, I get all sweaty and often get a stomach ache. Plus I find it really hard to get up again. For instance if I was to somehow take a nap at 4pm, I wouldn't get up until the morning. Instead of feel refreshed I will fell dizzy and tired for the rest of the day.

I used to have that - and decided I didn't like it. It's probably that stint in the early nineties, when I started spending too much time by the keyboard, and my blood pressure started dropping. I'd get into a state when coffee doesn't work by, yes, 4pm or so. Accidentally, our room was just across the street, and I just went there for a bit of a recharge. Somehow my brain switched that from the deep coma 3-hour snore into a 10-15 minutes nap, when I'd just wake up fresh. Don't know what happened and how does this work, but I'm glad it does.

>I used to do that as a kid. I should try it. I hope you don't do that at work. Could be seen as eccentric.

I work at home :).

Tried once in the office, but the place was too busy. Gave up after a few minutes.
