I don't know if it will help as I haven't tried it, but Tahoma is not the standard font on Vista. Have you tried changing the controls to use the standard Segoe UI font?

The problem is fine tuning the positions of the controls around the spinner and combobox is necessary. It could cost numerous hours of work for tons of forms in different VFP applications.
