Our business has defined a need to be able to report on the number of active sessions at points in time. We can see active sessions in application server enterprise manager under Response - Servlets and JSPs, as below:

Active Sessions 12
Active Requests 1
Request Processing Time (secs) 0.118
Requests per Second 0.294

This is fine as a one off but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way of tracking active sessions and recording numbers over a period of time?

Does anyone know where oracle application server gets the active sessions figure from?
