Looking to start a Gaddafi fan club??? <s>
You forgot to mention Libya's involvement in Pan Am Flight 103....270 people dead.
Supposedly, right after the 9/11 attack, Gaddafi wanted to make it clear to the U.S. that he/Libya had nothing to do with it. So maybe getting the combination of the sanctions and getting the bejeezus slapped out of him back in 1986 made him finally think twice.
