The link clearly states that the CODE B Start is 104. This is also the value used to initialize the checksum value. As mentioned before the added prefix and suffix codes are applcation specific - snip from the link: "This conversion takes into account the particular mapping of the font being used (this example is for the font published by Azalea Software)"
