It's 40km/hour (or about 25mph) ;)
It's good for short runs on cities road (not highway). But at that price, I still prefer my bike :)

With a top speed of 40mph, I imagine the norm is around 35 then and you can't even get on the freeway here unless you can drive AT LEAST 45mph. City driving though it makes a lot of sense (unless you need to use one of the freeways to get around the city). Sheesh, at that speed, it would take me almost 4 hours to get to work. (it takes me 2.5 hours now - of course I don't drive it everyday).
