Traffic lights aren't an issue for the color blind, as their position is fixed.

Another issue is this: what if the user (color-blind or not) has changed her system colors in such a way that this color-coding makes the text invisible?

Hmmm...I guess that doesn't apply, as VFP doesn't use system colors. :)
