Has anyone written or know of a utility to scan a directory of view creation scripts and extract the join and where conditions to help determining what indexes need to be created. We have 6 developers with different levels of experience and after 10 years of developing our code the current indexes we have are probably out of date. We also want to replace single field index entries with compound indexes after reviewing all the current join and where constructs used in our views.
Anything that may exist along these lines would be helpful.
