Hi

Today I had a client call me and say that they had a scrolling message in the status bar which said: "Record not available ... please wait". I discovered this is a message VFP displays when a "Transaction" is running and using a record that another users needs. However, I have never used transactions and there are no transactions in this application. The application does have two grids side by side used for matching records. I generally have avoided using grids in my applications for years but this customer wanted them. So I am wondering whether the grids are somehow causing this issue and whether they use transactions internally for any reason.

Does anyone have any thoughts about what might trigger is message periodically?
