A few weeks ago, the 169 representatives of the Norwegian "Stortinget", similar to your Senate, were all asked who they supported, Clinton or Trump. 168 supported Clinton, 1 supported Trump. And I have reason to believe that the situation is more or less the same in most other European countries.
