I noticed a couple of months ago that I could identify immigrants in 6 prior generations of my family and decided to write about it:

How very nice that you can trace you roots in America back to the very early 1800's. My father was a Holocaust survivor and arrived here after he was liberated from Dachau after WWII. My mother was the daughter of two immigrant parents (her father from Germany and her mother from Russia) who arrived in the country shortly after WWI. So we have something in common. We are both the daughters of immigrants....
