>>My customers are not "average person" :). My application is a spare parts room clerk. He/she has to carry this tablet and use it for one of two purposes:
>>1. Scan a part number on the shelf and give it to a mechanic/tech. So that the DB keeps track of parts used, where they were used and so on.
>>2. Cycle count. Scan part number and enter the actual quantity of the part on the shelf. Therefore the DB has an accurate information.
>>My VFP screens for these are fairly small. You can imagine that they have just a few text boxes. So even 8" tablet is plenty big for this purpose.

Thank you for the link to Lenovo. I am also looking at NuVision 8"
https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_7_22?url=search-alias%3Delectronics&field-keywords=nuvision+8+inch+tablet+windows&sprefix=nuvision+8+inch+tablet%2Celectronics%2C171&crid=OZPDRJWFTDG5&rh=n%3A172282%2Ck%3Anuvision+8+inch+tablet+windows
Only $95. I may buy it just to test it.
Update: Plus this NuVision runs Windows 10, which I think is better than Windows 8.1. But I don't know for sure.
