Avoid using network drives. In General, unless you have a huge number of users, no application runs faster than using local drives (not mapped). Use Remote Desktop / published applications to a local drive on a server for the best performance. Also, Antivirus software can effect performance and application stability. If possible exclude the FoxPro tables from Antivirus scanning.
