25 years ago, The HR department at a nationwide company I was an area manager for, strongly implied I was racist.
It is an easy charge to make, and hard to defend.

I guess it did not matter much that I had hired, trained and coached Whites, Blacks, Filipinos, Mexicans, Asians, Women, Gays, and yes, a transgendered person.
Yes, a horrible racist.

Give me a break.

40 years ago I lived in California and after visiting Texas, there were 2 things I did not like about Texas.
The heat.
The racism.

That was 40 years ago.
Texas is still hot.
Those racists are dead.
