I am about to design a report using cascading detail from seven tables in the following form:
Heading
ItemA (Table-1)
ItemA1Detail (Table-2)
ItemA1ADetail (Table-3)
ItemA1A1Detail (Table-4)
...
ItemA1AnDetail (Table-4)
ItemA1BDetail (Table-3)
...
ItemA1nDetail (Table-3)
...
ItemAnDetail (Table-2)
ItemB
...
Itemn
The tables are related in a cascade and have common keys. There is no limit the the number of records in each subordinate table in relation to the superior table at any level.
What is the best way to approach this report?
TIA
