I am 39. However, I think this is only partially generational. While I agree that public standards have definitely dropped in my lifetime, most of a person's POV [so to speak] comes from their parents/guardians, life experiences, community, who they grew up around, their role models, teachers, etc.

JVP's slam about his experience with Boy Scouts is anecdotal and probably unfairly indicts the entire organization. Your, and others, experience may be totally different.
