Thank you for your quick reply. Maybe you are onto something.

Both FECHA.spr and FECHA.SCX/SCT are generated by a migration program that I am writing. The migrator creates a wrapper program with the same name as the old generated spr (fecha.spr in this case), and that program in turn sets up the environment and then calls "DO FORM FECHA.SCX NAME FECHA". (Also tried "DO FORM FECHA NAME FECHA".) FECHA.SCX is a valid VFP 6.0 form.

Funny thing though, it runs if I am running the project as explained before, so it doesn't seem to be a case of invalid files. It just doesn't like the APP.

>FECHA.SPR??? I probably should have caught this earlier, but if you are still trying to run old forms [SPR], you may have to DO FETCHA.SPX until you create a valid VFP form [SCX/SCT].

>>Yes I actually get an error message: "File z:\migv\contab\sosa\fecha.scx missing." The path indicated is the current directory, where the data is, but no programs are there.

>>Another clue: if I move to the debugger when the error appears, it shows in the trace window "Source out of date", so I cannot investigate much more. BTW, it continues to show this message no matter how many times I recompile the program and rebuild the app (which is called fecha.spr)
