But, I am still puzzled. My original goal was to determine the lock status of a particular VFP table that is open in another form. Is that table Flock()ed or is it not. I don't see how this information is obtained from Fopen() as Fopen() returns -1 with a ferror() of (file access denied) regardless of how the table is used in the other form (shared/excl/locked/unlocked).
