>>>Not the 'top' MS folk. Last year the only MS person at Whilfest was Garrett and I believe he was there in an unofficial capacity. However, Randy, Calvin, Robert, and Ricardo... along with many others from the Fox team will be in San Diego.

>>No, but the same top folks in the industry. Don't misunderstand, I think it's great to be able to talk with the MS folks but they're usually so darned busy....

That is the main reason I attended - however Microsoft pulled out just before the doors opened. Wasted a trip from San Jose to San Francisco. So, I do not get my hopes up. We have a huge Microsoft building in Mountain View, just a few miles north of San Jose - problem is - you would not even know they are there. Guess it is good to keep a low profile in a large building.

I think it was either the 1988 ot 89 DB Expo I attended where I met Tom Rettig and Sherri Bruhn (noe Kennamer). Tom made me feel like a long lost relative. Invited me to his session and asked me to tag along with him as he walked around. Real nice introduction to the world of Fox. < s >

We probably met or at least were in close proximity to each other... Interesting.
Best,

DD
