After our company has moved to FoxPro 8 and stonfield 6.1b i have been having problems creating tables through data base updates. I am not using stonfields update method but rather running an update program through a maintenance form.

After a new table has been created and added to the main database and before i call the validate mehthod i can view, browse and modify the table as i see fit. After I validate the meta tables and reopen the table using the opendata method i can no longer access the newly created table without first recreating the backlink??


Anybody have any insight into this situation?
