You probably have active sync set up and it knows that your real device is called "PocketPC". I think the emulator by default has the same device name. So you need to change the device name of the emulator to something like "PocketPC1" or 2 or 3...<g>

On the emulator: Start/Settings/SystemTab/About/DeviceTab/..enter the new Device Name.
