Thanks a lot for your response. For the Favorites problem I tracked it down to a bug in the Builder.app which ships with VFP9. So it's not really Kevin's problem but rather a problem from VFP9 itself. This is quite easy to fix, though, with the minor code modification I did in Builder.app. However, it would require unpacking XSource (probably a good idea anyway).

For the second problem we noticed it about 3 months ago. I think my colleague tried to get to the root of it, but didn't find a cause yet. I don't want to waste my time on it right now, so I hope that somebody will offer a fix.

Are you 100% sure that the next version of MereMortals is about to come?

We made few changes at the framework level (should not have done it, of course)... I think I changed the textbox class which is used in the grid...
