>Situation 1: You're talking to your grandson and tell him that you've got a present for him if he's been good. His reply is "I've been good."

As an alternative to the other replies you have got, the child might say: "He sido un buen chico (muchacho)", or "...una buena chica (muchacha)". Meaning, I have been a good boy. It might depend a little, how the question was exactly phrased.

For the other replies: "¿Te has portado bien?"

For my reply: "¿Has sido un buen muchacho?"
Difference in opinions hath cost many millions of lives: for instance, whether flesh be bread, or bread be flesh; whether whistling be a vice or a virtue; whether it be better to kiss a post, or throw it into the fire... (from Gulliver's Travels)
