Even having the pronouncement in hand (kwah-o-wahr), one is left with a twisted tongue... having attempted it a few times, I think I have it... it's pronounced "screw it!".

>And besides....none of us knew how to pronounce "Quouar" (heh).

>>>With Ken's approval, the "Sedna" idea was mine :-) At first, the name was attractive as the first planetary body beyond the 9th (Pluto)...and then I read the legend of Sedna, the Artic goddess and about fell off my chair laughing at the loose parallels to VFP.

>>Just to clarify, I was hinting that a good code name based on one of those "possible" planets beyond Pluto would be a good code name. John found Sedna, which was a better name than some of the other possiblities. My main criteria for a good code name is one that is easy to spell, pronounce, and type. :) The only real thought in the code name being some mass outside of Pluto is that is has to do with something beyond the 9th (ie 9.0) planet (ie version.
