The big question is this "32-bit compatibility mode" announcement. The idea that VFP 9.0 is the last version is much less distressing than having to run in some crappy compatibility mode in a few years.

Support until 2015 is just fine and dandy if 64-bit systems are adopted slowly. But I don't expect they will be.
