What is wrong with:
lcFldVal2 = ["Line 1" + CHR(13) + "Line 2"]
or you might:

text to m.lcFldVal2 noshow
Line 1
Line 2
Line 3
endtext

PS:Do not insist on ExecScript for this or it'd catch you sooner or later.
