I had a DCOM automation server running fine on Windows Server 2003. I was trying to replicate an error a client was getting, so I tried changing the Configuration Permissions in Component Services/DCOM Config (I removed access rights from the Administrator user account). After saving that, the entry disappeared from the DCOM Config list! I've tried all sorts of things, logging in as another user, unregistering/re-registering the component, rebooting, etc... The entry never shows up! Any ideas? Thanks for any help!
