I have been thinking about your problem. Several posters have suggested using wine, VMware, and VirtualBox as ways to of providing a means to run a VFP app on Linux. In the end I think you will find that they are just more trouble. Although, I use VMware daily on my systems I think you are better off writing the program in something that runs under linux.

My choices would be
1. Dabo
2. Store Procedures
3. Java (netbeans 6)
4. a Web interface like WebKit or your choice.
