>I'm using a cursor created from a cursor adapter with a grid. I'm running into the age-old problem of a grid losing its settings when the cursor is requeried. Normally, I used parameterized views and this does not happen with them (one reason I like them). I used to have some code that would save the column settings, etc., before the query and then restore the settings after the query. I can dig that out, but I'm wondering if there is a more elegant solution I've missed (since I was insulated from this problem)? The old trick of setting the RecordSource to an empty string, doing the query, then setting it back only works if you're displaying the columns of the grid in the natural order from the table (not real common, I find).
