So, the Excellence Awards are there to pat ourselves on the back? Or, are they there to showcase to the world - the types of apps that can be written in VFP?

If it is the latter, I would contend that goal has not been achieved. If it is the former, then great, we get a chance to pat ourselves on the back.

So, is your point that there is a gap between the reach the Excellence Awards have and the reach the Awards should have? Or, is your point the Excellence Awards are reaching the correct audience????

Simply put - PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE VFP COMMUNITY HAVE NOT CARED, DO NOT CARE, NOR WILL THEY EVER CARE ABOUT VFP.
