Tamar, I just read that the nine-year-old girl who was killed is the granddaughter of Dallas Green (former Phils manager).

Obviously doesn't alter the depth of the tragedy - more than anything, just sobering how people are connected when a tragedy (random or otherwise) happens.

A terrible, sick, sick tragedy.

Update: I just read that the Congresswoman is able to communicate by following simple commands....she's not able to speak but apparently is able to understand simple commands. So looks like the docs have some cautious optimism.
