I'll say it again. Microsoft has no control over Skype. The have entered an agreement for Skype to be acquired, but nothing more has happened. In fact, if Microsoft attempts to influence Skype over marketing, technical direction, etc, etc (anything for that matter), it would be a violation of federal law. Until such time as regulators give approval, they are two companies.
