Of course it'll be important. You can only do so much with HTML and Javascript. And I do not look forward to creating complex apps with lots of Javascript. It's just too spaghetti code-like, tough to debug, hard to find the right script in a complicated page, and it's just slow compared to other options. That will make release schedules even worse.
