These events happen but are rare. The oddity is that usually they occur after the team wins.

Nothing too much ever happened here during the Bulls' championship run but the police were out in force in case something did. A relatively few fans mixed euphoria and alcohol badly and lost control. It didn't become contagious, fortunately.
