After more verification, it appears the laptop boots with NumLock ON. So, when Terminal Server is closed, it resets as if it would be from a reboot. So, if I could resolve the boot sequence to avoid having the NumLock ON, that would resolve it. I do not remember where that setting is in Windows. Do you know more about it?
