(a) the clients router is handing out IP addresses since the other machines work
(b) the Win7 machine is configured correctly to use default settings since it works with your router.
So the obvoius thing to check would be the physical network connection between the Win7 machine and the router at the clients site.
Have you tried pinging the router from the Win7 machine there?
