Help! I recreated some setup disks for a project. Setup wizard worked fine, but when I go to install the files, after selecting the big button icon and choosing the program group, setup crashes saying

Error 289

Object 240. Some of the setup files were damaged. Try redoing the setup etc.

Tried multiple times, and even redownloaded the new setup wizard for 3.0b from M$. No luck.

Has anyone seen this error and could you direct me on how to fix it.

Search of the MSKB was fruitless.
