I don't need the Excel application to show while VFP is making the changes. The program seems to run and finish with no problems. However, when I try to open the modified .XLS file after it's been saved the file is marked as open but I don't see anything inside Excel, just like when you open Excel with no books or sheets in it, still I can not delete the .XLS file or open it again without the 'Readonly' message.
