You can put imbedded IIF statements to get the results..

SELECT artnr, ;
SUM(IIF(MONTH(date)=1,1,0)) AS Jan, ;
SUM(IIF(MONTH(date)=2,1,0)) AS Feb, ;
etc ;
FROM MyTable GROUP BY artnr
