I have been experiencing several very hard to explain discrepancies between the vfp6 dev env. and the runtime exe.

1)I am working on a report that serves as a check printing routine.
It is somewhat complicated, but essentially, runs from a local view, with a in-report call to a udf that populates a large text field from a sql.

In the dev env (vfp6.exe), it works fine and reliably. In the runtime exe, it has exhibited strange behavior like: skipping the report printing as if there is no data in the report cursor, getting incorrect results from udf based sql etc...

2) I have a void check routine that flips a logical value in a field and sets off a field level validation procedure in the dbc's stored procs that cascades changes to several child tables. Again, in the dev env, it works 10 out of 10 times. In the EXE/ runtime it works 3/10 times with no apparent reason or pattern.

I am working on a compaq deskpro pentium 3-450 with 64meg.
But, I have gotten similar results from other machines at a client site.

Has anyone experienced similar problems of instability / unreliability with vfp6sp3 runtime? It has cost a great deal of time and frustration to work around these problems, and in the end, the client will run the exe from vfp6.
