Put are you sure the relation between the two tables is correctly definted. Put SET STEP ON after the refresh to see if all of the tables are properly related and record points are pointing to where they should be.

I have found that when my grid doesn't work it is usually a conflict between the DE relations and the grid relations. Deleting the DE relations works for me.
