Hmmmmm. Well ok, you probably did some of this, but here's a few random thoughts on what I would try.

SET DELE OFF, open the FRX and see if there are any deleted records that look srewy. If so, pack it & try again.

I forget which field but you can search here & find out, but find the field in frx that stores default printer. Wipe that sucker out and try again.

Speaking of printer... make sure the case of the missing bmp's applies when printed to different printer.

Create a new VFP (mock) report and slap the bmp in there & see if it works. If so, compare that FRX to problem FRX.

Try problem report on different computer, maybe this is a whacked out printer driver.

Make a copy of the problem bmp and try that one it's place.

Remove the bmp, copy and paste entire report to a new VFP one & save. See if it works, then add bmp to new one.

Geeze GF, hope this help. My condolences on your weirdness.... reporting should be the easy part of a conversion.
