I just got the same error message and went to the same KB articles but they weren't very helpfull. I just installed SP3 the other day and I don't remember ever running into this error before. Even though the KB article is dated 98 I can't help but wonder if SP3 isn't part of the problem.

Is there any way out of this mess? VFP won't recognize the database and I've got 15 tables I don't want to recreate.
