I posted a similar post in the OLE area, because the lack of speed is in foxisapi routines. however, maybe someone has a more generic suggestion?

essentially, users add records to a small table, a perpetual process on the server looks for new records, validates and prices them, and the users retrieve the validation code. Problem is, the process on the server should take about 1/10 second, but typically it is over TEN seconds before the users see the confirmation. I've tried various buffer settings, FLUSH, etc!

I even watched from a browse window, by manually clicking on/off my record I could see the data sooner!

Any ideas?
