Wow, you've got that right. I heading south down Hy 10 in West Virginia a few years ago... round one curve and see an old log cabin with two folks setting in rockers on the poarch smoking corncob pipes... round the next mountian side and there is a modern home with a satellite dish, swiming pool, cars... the contrasts were amazing. Web surfing is the same way... even on the same page.

What I've also noticed, and some college prof has commented on, is that the Internet seems to be polarizing people in their view points, establishing an "us" vs "them" mentality. It is not even permissible to disagree with anyone any more without having 'Nazi' or 'Communist' tossed into your face.
It's a wonder that there aren't more Timothy McVeigh's out there.

That probably explains why I am such an MS basher and a Linux lover! :)
