Ken,

How can it be false??? You said the following:

>>
>>This is correct, developers need to upgrade to VFP 7.0. The Fox team is and will be measured by the number of developers who upgrade to VFP 7.0 or MSDN subscriptions, that is what determines the future of VFP more than anything else.
>>

If that does not say the future of VFP, which is 8, depends on sales/upgrades to 7, I don't know what does.

If you want to retract your statement, fine. However, to say that I am saying something false without a basis is wrong...

>>> Put another way, not enough people are upgrading to warrant making VFP 8 a slam-dunk that it will release. For the record, I think 8 will be a reality. <<
>
>This is completely false, Microsoft has never said nor implied this. The next version of VFP is currently being developed and its release has no dependency of the sales/upgrades of VFP 7.0. You are posting messages as if you know Microsoft plans and strategy, and obviously you don't, so it would be helpful to the Microsoft VFP marketing efforts if you avoided it. Feel free to check with me first if you aren't sure, thanks. For the record, the next version of VFP is being developed and will be a reality.
